The Humane Society of Mason County in partnership with Coalition Humane now offers low cost spay and neuter assistance to low income families.

Coalition: HUMAnE promotes and provides low cost spay and neuter services for pet cats and dogs and feral cats in an effort to stop the killing of companion animals due to overpopulation.

 
   

 

Services & Fees

Through the HSMC SNYP IT Program, Mason County residents who *qualify for assistance pay the following fees:

Feline neuter   $18    
Feline spay   $23    
         
Canine neuter   $28   60 lbs and under
    $33   61–80 lbs
    $38   over 80 lbs
         
Canine spay   $33   60 lbs and under
    $38   61–80 lbs
    $43   over 80 lbs
         
Free-Roaming Cat Package   $20    Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccination, ear tip (required), tattoo, ear mite treatment (if needed)
 
Surcharges:    
     
Feline in heat/pregnant   $5
Canine in heat/pregnant   10
Cryptorchid neuter   $5
Umbilical hernia    $7.5

All healthy cats and dogs over the age of 8 weeks and weighing at least 2 pounds are eligible for surgery. Vaccinations and other services are offered at the time of surgery only. This clinic does not provide full-service or follow-up veterinary care. Please contact your veterinarian for ongoing wellness services.

Cash, debit card, and credit cards accepted. No Checks.


*Mason County residents must show proof of need and have a combined household income of less the thirty thousand. Limit 2 animals per calendar year.
